On October 1st, 2011, Volstad Shipping entered into a 5 years Charter Party with DeepOcean for the IMR Vessel “Volstad Surveyor”.
The vessel is a modern and environmental friendly IMR Vessel with highest comfort class, built to operate World Wide. “Volstad Surveyor” was delivered from Freire Shipyard in Vigo, Spain, May 2010.

New Contract with Statoil
Statoil has decleared 2 yearly options for PSV "Volstad Princess" from June 1st 2011 until June 1st 2013.
Contract with DeepOcean
Volstad Shipping entered into a contract with DeepOcean. The contract is for 3 months firm + 3xl monthly options and commencing Zoth February 2011. The vessel works for Statoil in the North Sea.
Naming ceremony GSP Prince
New Building No 7 at Baatbygg was given the name GSP Prince at a naming ceremony in Constanta in Romania October 24th, 2009. Godmother was Sandra Elena Comanescu. She is the daughter of Gabriel Comanescu, President of GSP.
Naming ceremony Volstad Surveyor
Volstad Shipping took delivery of their 2nd IMR vessel of ST-253 design in Vigo in Spain on May 8th 2010. Godmother for VOLSTAD SURVEYOR was Wenche Gjøsund. She is married to captain Nils Kaare Gjøsund.

5 years Charterparty with Romanian company
Volstad Shipping has entered into a 5 years Charterparty with Romanian company GSP for NB 7 at Båtbygg. A Charterparty between Acergy and Volstad Shipping for the same vessel was cancelled earlier in 2009. The cancellation was a result of a mutually agreed deal between the two parties. Naming ceremony Volstad Princess
Volstad Shipping took delivery of another ST-216L CD may 29th 2008. The naming ceremony took place in Geiranger Fjord at Seven Sisters waterfall saturday may 31st. Godmother for "Volstad Princess" was Elisabeth Volstad. She is the daughter of shipowner Eivind Volstad.
